After days of speculation and leaks of the marriage document, Egyptian actress Menna Shalaby confirmed her official engagement to producer Ahmed El-Ganainy, in a special statement to several local media outlets, indicating that the marriage contract was indeed concluded a few days ago.
Menna clarified that her decision not to announce the marriage at the time was out of respect for her personal privacy, along with her mother's health circumstances that did not allow for a wedding ceremony.
She added that the relationship between her and El-Ganainy gradually developed after her participation in one of the programs he produced, where a strong friendship grew between them that later turned into an official engagement.
The document that circulated on social media sparked widespread controversy, before Menna confirmed its authenticity, putting an end to the rumors that occupied her audience in recent days.
For his part, the legal officiant mentioned in the document refused to make any statements, confirming that the matter falls under client privacy.
It is noteworthy that Menna Shalaby, born in 1982, began her artistic career with the film "The Magician," and has participated in many prominent cinematic and dramatic works.
She was recently honored at the El Gouna Film Festival with the "Lifetime Achievement" award, in recognition of her artistic career that has spanned over 25 years.
