The Malaysian organization "Mercy" has provided 10 kidney dialysis machines to support the kidney dialysis unit at Hama National Hospital, aiming to address the current severe shortage in the unit and improve services for patients.
According to the SANA agency, the machines were delivered during a visit by a delegation from the organization to the hospital, which is facing a severe shortage of kidney dialysis machines, in addition to many of them being out of order. This situation threatens the lives and safety of kidney dialysis patients, imposing a heavy burden and suffering on them and their families.
SANA also reported that the organization's coordinator, Arwa Haider, called on the Hama Health Directorate to prepare a comprehensive report on the performance of kidney dialysis units in all public hospitals in the province and their most critical needs.
During her tour of the maternity and pediatric hospital, "Arwa" was briefed on the most pressing needs of patients and residents, especially complementary nutritional supplements for pregnant women and children, promising to provide them through the organization.
