Mai Ezz El Din Talks for the First Time About Her Health Condition After the Difficult Surgery

The Egyptian artist Mai Ezz El Din reassured her audience about the stability of her health condition after a challenging treatment journey during which she underwent a precise surgery on her intestines and stomach, which she described as "not easy at all."
Mai Ezz El Din expressed her gratitude to the medical team overseeing her case through her official Instagram account, stating:
"I would like to thank all the doctors supervising my case for their exceptional care since the moment I entered the hospital. I thank them from the bottom of my heart, especially since the surgery was not easy at all."
Sources revealed that the health crisis began due to a severe spread of pus in the abdominal area, leading to sharp adhesions and significant pressure on the pelvis, which necessitated urgent and complex surgical intervention.
Mai Ezz El Din spent several days in the intensive care unit under close monitoring before being allowed to leave to continue her treatment and recovery at home.
Her husband, Dr. Ahmed Taimour, confirmed through his official accounts that his wife was discharged from the hospital last Saturday evening, clarifying that her condition is stable and she is currently undergoing home recovery.
This crisis comes shortly after the announcement of her new series "Qabl wa Baad" withdrawing from the Ramadan 2026 drama race, a decision that seems to have been made in response to her urgent health circumstances.
Mai Ezz El Din's last dramatic appearance was in the series "Qalbi wa Miftahuh" during Ramadan 2025, which achieved wide success and starred alongside her the stars Aser Yassin, Diab, and Ashraf Abdel Baqi, leaving a strong mark before entering this sudden health setback.
