Mahmoud Abu Al-Dahab, the former Al-Ahly star, made a serious accusation against the duo Ahmed Mustafa "Zizo" and Imam Ashour, players of the red team, following the recent defeat against Tala'ea El-Gaish with a score of 1-2 on Monday evening in the Egyptian league.
Al-Ahly Struggling in the Egyptian League
Al-Ahly is currently in third place with 40 points, 3 points behind the leaders Zamalek and second-placed Pyramids. Abu Al-Dahab explained on TEN channel that the lack of spirit and character of the club has been evident since the beginning of the season, noting that the match against Tala'ea revealed the players' negligence on the field.
Serious Accusation Against Players
Abu Al-Dahab said: "The Al-Ahly dressing room has been destroyed with the presence of Zizo and Imam Ashour, and there is no discipline inside or outside the field." He added that all parties bear responsibility for the loss, starting from the board of directors and the coaching staff to the players, emphasizing the absence of pressure on opponents and a lack of fighting spirit.
Poor Physical and Tactical Performance
The Al-Ahly legend pointed out that the team does not train on clear tactical plays, and the physical performance is weak on the pitch, adding: "Imam Ashour is not bigger than Al-Ahly, and Zizo's role is not just to run and send inaccurate crosses."
