Luca Zidane officially joins the "Greens" after obtaining Algerian sports nationality

The Algerian Football Federation announced on Friday that Spanish goalkeeper Luca Zidane has officially obtained Algerian sports nationality, allowing him to represent the "Greens" in international competitions.

Luca Zidane had previously represented the French youth national team and won the "Euro 2015" title with the France under-17 team.

The Algerian national team is preparing to face Somalia next month in the African qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup in North America, where the team is expected to secure its qualification for the tournament.
