The Argentine star Lionel Messi, player of Inter Miami, has increased his record number of titles after winning the American League Cup with his team, following their victory over the Vancouver Whitecaps 3-1 in the final match held at Chase Stadium in Florida. With this new championship, Messi's total number of titles has risen to 47 throughout his professional career with clubs and the Argentine national team.

According to the Spanish newspaper Marca, most of Messi's titles were achieved during the 22 seasons he played as a professional, with the most notable being with Barcelona between 2005 and 2021, where he won 35 collective titles, before continuing his success with Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Miami, in addition to his achievements with the Argentine national team.
