Liberman: We will not allow the establishment of a Palestinian state amid rising political tensions

Avigdor Liberman, leader of the "Yisrael Beiteinu" party, announced his firm rejection of the idea of establishing a Palestinian state, asserting that his party will not allow any steps that lead to this path, in statements reflecting the rise of right-wing rhetoric within Israel amid the ongoing war on Gaza.

Liberman, known for his hardline positions, harshly criticized the performance of the Israeli government, considering that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is leading the country towards an "unprecedented political collapse," even going so far as to say that Netanyahu could be recorded in history as the founder of the Palestinian state if his current policies continue.

These statements come at a time when international pressure on Israel to halt military operations in Gaza is increasing, amid repeated European calls for recognizing the Palestinian state as part of a comprehensive solution to the conflict.
