Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesperson said today, Wednesday, that the country welcomes the halt of American attacks on Yemen after U.S. President Donald Trump announced that Washington would stop bombing the Houthi allies of Iran.
Trump stated that the Houthis have agreed to stop obstructing important maritime passages in the Middle East.
According to the agreement mediated by Oman, neither the United States nor the Houthis will target either party, including American ships in the Red Sea and the Bab el-Mandeb Strait.
