The Internal Security Command in Daraa Governorate carried out a special security operation today, Monday, resulting in the recovery of 16.8 kilograms of stolen gold, which had been seized by an armed robbery gang from a merchant on the Jasem - Inkhil road on September 25, 2025, according to the Syrian Ministry of Interior.
During the operation, a direct clash occurred between security personnel and gang members, resulting in the injury of one security member and one gang member, while one of the involved individuals was arrested, and the relevant authorities continue to pursue the remaining gang members.
