Idlib Receives 5 New Ambulances with International Saudi Support to Enhance Emergency Services

The Union of Medical Care and Relief Organizations delivered today, Thursday, five fully equipped ambulances to the Ministry of Health, as part of a humanitarian project funded by the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Works, in partnership with the World Health Organization, aimed at developing the ambulance system in Idlib province and improving medical response in emergencies.

This step comes as part of supporting the health infrastructure in the most needy areas, where the new ambulances will contribute to enhancing the capacity of medical teams for rapid intervention and transporting the injured and patients amid field challenges and the increasing pressure on health facilities.

This project is an extension of regional and international cooperation in supporting the Syrian health sector and providing practical solutions that contribute to saving lives and alleviating the burden on medical staff working in the field.
