President Al-Shara: Syrians do not need charity but the honor of contributing to the rebuilding of their country

President Ahmad Al-Shara stated during the launch of the Syrian Development Fund in the Citadel of Damascus that Syria stands today on the threshold of a new phase of construction and reconstruction, calling on citizens to contribute to rebuilding their homeland with their efforts and money.
Al-Shara added that the previous regime destroyed the economy, shattered homes, and scattered the people, affirming that the fund will provide high transparency in managing resources and implementing strategic projects.
The president pointed out that Syrians do not need charity, but rather the honor of contributing to the rebuilding of their country, emphasizing that the sacrifices of the martyrs and the displaced represent a trust that must be fulfilled.
Al-Shara said: "Syria today tests your love, and it grants you the honor of contributing to healing its wounds and rebuilding it, for this is a great opportunity for all of us to write the new history of our nation".
