Guardiola's Anger After City's Loss

Guardiola mentioned that the attack on his choices is not new, recalling his loss to Chelsea in the 2021 UEFA Champions League final, where he faced similar criticism for playing Ilkay Gundogan in a holding role instead of Rodri and Fernandinho.

Guardiola urged Manchester City players to improve their movements inside the penalty area to enhance offensive effectiveness, noting the decline in Erling Haaland's performance, who has scored only two goals from open play in the last 17 matches, and the need to boost boldness and instinct in passing and movement within the box.

The Spanish coach emphasized the importance of learning from mistakes and applying improvements in upcoming matches, especially the clash against West Ham in the Premier League, stressing the necessity of scoring goals and maintaining a strong offensive threat to achieve better results.
