After the conclusion of the second round of indirect nuclear negotiations between Iran and the United States in Geneva, a post by a former advisor to Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi has stirred a wave of speculation.
Today, Mohammad Hossein Ranjbaran, the former advisor to Araqchi, tweeted on his X account suggesting that the talks were negative. He wrote: "The atmosphere of the Geneva negotiations did not seem positive."
However, he quickly deleted the post, but some Iranian users on the platform caught it and began circulating it, leading to a significant wave of questions, especially since no comments had been made regarding the atmosphere of the negotiations.
Technical Talks
Earlier today, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Baghaei clarified that economic, legal, and technical experts participated in the negotiations, but he did not provide any impression regarding the atmosphere or details.
However, he mentioned that entering the negotiations into the "technical phase" means starting to discuss the executive details and specialized minutiae in the areas of lifting sanctions and nuclear commitments.
