The International Basketball Federation's regional office, FIBA Asia, announced on Tuesday that it has granted permission for the Syrian national basketball team to play on their home ground at the Al-Fayhaa Main Hall in Damascus for all matches of the 2027 World Cup qualifiers, set to begin next November.
This decision comes as a result of the continuous efforts and follow-up made by the Ministry of Sports and Youth and the Interim Committee for Managing Syrian Basketball Affairs.
