Due to the devastating earthquake in Russia, stranded whales on the shores of Japan

Following the devastating earthquake that hit the eastern coast of Russia, whales were spotted on the shores of Japan.
Tsunami waves struck the Russian Kuril Islands and the northern Japanese island of Hokkaido after an underwater earthquake measuring 8.8 magnitude, which appeared to be one of the strongest earthquakes ever recorded, and the largest since the 2011 Japan earthquake.
It is attributed to changes in water levels and currents near the coast following the earthquake, whales were observed being carried by the waves onto a beach in Japan, and the footage was broadcasted live on local television.
However, officials later said that these whales stranded on Tuesday before the Wednesday tsunami.
