Social media in Egypt buzzed with a photo showing the artist Angham on a hospital bed, amidst a wave of concern and speculation about her health.

Some accounts claimed that this is her first photo after undergoing surgery to remove a tumor in the pancreas.

The photo sparked a huge reaction, with many followers expressing their concern about the signs of fatigue on her face, and considering it confirms the circulating news about her deteriorating health.

However, the truth emerged later, as it turned out that the photo was modified using artificial intelligence technology and has no relation to the artist, and was only published to attract followers and generate engagement on social media platforms.

On the other hand, the media personality Mahmoud Saad went live on his Facebook page on Wednesday evening to reveal the latest updates about Angham's condition. He clarified that he had spoken to her on the phone earlier that day, confirming that she is well and feeling better. Currently, she is staying at a hospital in Munich, Germany, accompanied by her son Omar, and is likely to leave the hospital within a day or two.

Angham underwent a precise operation last Thursday using an endoscope inserted through the mouth to remove a cyst on the pancreas.

The doctors managed to remove most of the cyst, while a small part remains that only requires monitoring after her return to Egypt.

Saad pointed out that the test results showed the cyst to be benign, confirming that her health condition is stable despite some expected pains after the operation.

To dispel rumors, Angham posted a photo on her Instagram story showing her after coming out of the operating room, after false news spread about her having breast cancer and traveling for treatment, causing widespread concern among her fans.

Angham is one of the prominent names in the Arab music scene, and news of her illness was enough to stir the emotions of her fans who wished her a speedy recovery and quick return to her audience and admirers.
