The Revolutionary Educational Hospital reported in its official statement that the victim's body bore "severe torture marks, including scattered bruises, recent and old burns, wounds on the head and neck, as well as deformities in the hands due to deep burns, and an injury around the right eye."
The Public Prosecution confirmed in its statement that the death resulted from "complications of external violence due to the severity of the torture the girl was subjected to."
The torture also extended to Rahma's four siblings, Majahid, Nabilah (6 years old), Qamar (2 years old), and Naib (5 years old), who were rushed to the hospital in critical condition but miraculously survived, according to the same sources.
In her testimony to the local press, the children's mother recounted that "the tragedy began after the death of her husband, who forcibly took their children and placed them under the care of his ex-wife, but he met his death less than a month later at the hands of his brother during a dispute over a piece of land."
She added: "I tried to regain my children after the mourning period, but the father's wife and her children violently refused, and I resorted to the courts, but the crime was faster."
