I was deceived by a job contract .. A model kidnapped in Thailand and her organs sold in Myanmar

Vera Kraftsova was a 26-year-old Belarusian young woman, dreaming of fame and lights, and the glamorous world of fashion shows.
But she did not know that her journey to Bangkok, which she thought was the gateway to her professional launch, would turn into a nightmare resembling horror movies.
Vera received an enticing online offer to work as a model for a brand, and she traveled from Minsk to Thailand with great hope for a new beginning.
But as soon as her feet touched Bangkok, she was secretly smuggled across the border to Myanmar, where she became a victim of one of the world's most dangerous human trafficking networks.
* "Hell Centers" .. Where souls are sold
In border areas outside state control, what are known as "fraudulent call centers" proliferate, secret facilities run by Chinese gangs and Burmese militias.
There, tens of thousands of people of various nationalities are held and forced to carry out electronic scams, under the threat of torture, death, or the sale of their organs.
According to the "Daily Mail" and other reports, Vera was transferred to one of these centers, where she was stripped of her phone and passport, and forced to use her attractive appearance to lure victims online and convince them of fake investments for the gangs.
But when she no longer generated the required profits, news of her suddenly stopped.
After a while, her family received a shocking call:
"Pay half a million dollars if you want to retrieve her body."
Then came the second call:
"We sold her organs and burned the body."
* A world of modern slavery
According to the Russian agency Mash, Vera's story is one of thousands of tragic stories in these camps, where more than 100,000 people are held, including Belarusians, Russians, and girls from Southeast Asia, all of whom were deceived by fake job offers online.
Human rights reports describe these facilities as "modern slavery cities," as they contain restaurants and beauty salons to deceive victims into believing they are living a normal life, while they are held under strict armed surveillance and prevented from leaving.
* A Russian survivor recounts the horror
In contrast, a young Russian woman named Dashinima Uchernimaeva (24 years old) managed to survive after being deceived in the same way through a job offer as a model on the "Telegram" app.
She was smuggled to Myanmar, but was rescued at the last moment after the intervention of the Russian ambassador in Bangkok Yevgeny Tomikhin, who personally intervened to bring her back to her homeland.
* Suspicious involvement and government negligence
International reports indicate that the ruling military council in Myanmar turns a blind eye to these activities or is implicitly involved in them, in exchange for huge sums of money from the controlling gangs.
As the tragedies continue, Asian governments and diplomats are struggling to save what can be saved of the young men and women who were deceived in the same way.
* A tragic end to an innocent dream
The life of Vera Kraftsova ended in one of the darkest places on earth, where human organs are sold and bodies are burned, without her voice being heard, or her injustice being lifted.
Her innocent dream of fashion and stardom turned into a deadly trap, woven with the threads of transnational organized crime, which continues to claim the lives of the innocent without restraint.
