Today, Wednesday, the Four Seasons Hotel in the Syrian capital, Damascus, witnessed the signing of an investment cooperation agreement between the Syrian Investment Authority and Emirati businessman Khalaf Ahmed Al-Habtoor, in the presence of Syrian Finance Minister Mohammad Yaser Barnieh, along with several economic and diplomatic figures.

This agreement comes as part of efforts to enhance economic partnership between Syria and the UAE, opening new horizons for cooperation in investment and development, contributing to supporting vital projects and encouraging joint investments that serve the reconstruction process and the development of the economic infrastructure in the country.

This step is part of the increasing investment activity recently witnessed in Damascus, amidst a government trend towards creating an attractive environment for Arab and international investors, and providing extensive facilities in the productive and service sectors.
