An emotional video has gone viral on social media in the United States, capturing the moment an elderly delivery man arrived at a customer's home struggling to deliver an order from Starbucks despite his advanced age and obvious exhaustion.

The story began when Brittany Smith watched the footage captured by her doorbell camera, which showed delivery man Richard Boley (78 years old) moving very slowly while delivering the order, a scene that sparked widespread sympathy online.

It later emerged that Richard works in deliveries with his wife Brenda Boley (72 years old), after she lost her job, forcing the couple, married for 56 years, to work again to cover rising medical bills and living expenses.

Brittany was moved by the story and launched an online fundraising campaign to help the couple, which quickly turned into a wave of solidarity, as donations exceeded $500,000 within a few days.

Richard expressed his astonishment at the level of support, saying he couldn't believe that so many people cared about their story, while the donations enabled the couple to finally stop working and live with dignity after many years of struggle.
