The Egyptian artist Amr Saad announced the launch of a new humanitarian initiative aimed at paying off the debts of 30 debtors inside prisons, in collaboration with the team of his new series "Ifraaj," which is set to be aired during the upcoming Ramadan drama season. The initiative comes as part of translating the social message addressed in the drama into real steps on the ground.

Full coverage of debts until the cases return to their families

Saad explained that the initiative includes paying all debts and expenses owed by the benefiting cases, confirming continued support until their release and return to their normal lives with their families. He pointed out that the main goal of this step is to alleviate the burdens on the affected families and give the beneficiaries a chance for a new beginning.

Announcement of the initiative and encouragement of charitable work

The artist confirmed that the announcement of the initiative came out of a desire to encourage others to contribute to charitable works, explaining that showcasing such initiatives may help spread the culture of social solidarity and motivate the community to support those in need, especially during Ramadan, which witnesses an increase in humanitarian initiatives.

Criticism of costly advertising campaigns

In the context of his talk, Saad pointed out that some digital marketing campaigns now require huge budgets to achieve engagement on social media platforms, confirming that the audience has become more aware of these methods. He noted that genuine humanitarian initiatives leave a deeper impact on the audience compared to traditional advertising campaigns.

A call for artists to contribute to social responsibility

Saad sent a message to his colleagues in the artistic community, urging them to adopt social and humanitarian initiatives alongside presenting artistic works, emphasizing that an artist's success is linked to the support and trust of the audience, which requires providing content that carries real value beyond mere entertainment.

Allocating millions of pounds to support charitable work

He concluded his remarks by announcing the allocation of about ten million pounds to support humanitarian initiatives and assist the most needy groups, confirming that this step represents the beginning of a series of charitable initiatives that he seeks to expand in the upcoming period.
