America Prepares for Widespread Protests Against Trump Amid Government Shutdown

American cities are preparing for a wave of national protests tomorrow, Saturday, under the slogan "No Kings," in rejection of what organizers describe as the "authoritarianism" in President Donald Trump's administration, amid the ongoing government shutdown and rising political tensions.
Estimates indicate that around two thousand events will be organized in more than 1700 cities across the United States, in a movement that observers see as the largest since Trump took office.
The movement raises demands, the most prominent of which are to stop the expansion of federal and military presence within cities, ensure transparency of security agencies, and end immigrant raids and mass deportations.
