Al-Shaibani from Baghdad: The new Syria does not antagonize anyone, but rather extends its hands to everyone.

In his speech during the 34th regular Arab summit in Baghdad today, Friday, al-Shaaban said: "The lifting of American sanctions on our country is an important step towards national recovery."
Al-Shaaban thanked Saudi Arabia and Turkey for their efforts to lift American sanctions on Syria, as well as Qatar, the UAE, and all Arab countries that supported Syria.
Al-Shaaban added: "The new Syria does not antagonize anyone but extends its hands to everyone," and continued: "Syria is for all Syrians, and there is no place for marginalization or exclusion."
He said: "We are putting the finishing touches to launch work towards a parliament that represents all Syrians," indicating the government's efforts to form a constitutional committee to draft a permanent constitution.
Al-Shaaban stressed that there are parties working to exploit the Syrian tragedy for their own projects.
He also condemned the ongoing Israeli attacks on Syria.
Al-Shaaban concluded his speech by saying: "Syria extends its hand to the Arabs based on partnership."
