Egyptian artist Ahmed El Sakka surprised his fans by officially announcing his separation from his wife, the media personality Maha El Saghir, after a marriage that lasted for more than 26 years, resulting in three children: Yassin, Hamza, and Nadya. El Sakka posted a statement on his Facebook account explaining that the separation had actually occurred six months ago, while the official divorce took place about two months ago. He emphasized that he is now living for his children, mother, sister, and close friends, and wished his children's mother all the best. El Sakka stated that he does not wish to discuss this matter extensively out of respect for privacy and requested that the media refrain from delving into it. He mentioned that his life has changed as hearts change, wishing Maha happiness in her future decisions. Ahmed El Sakka had met Maha El Saghir coincidentally at the Pyramids area while practicing horseback riding, which was a shared hobby, leading the chance encounter to a love story that culminated in a legendary wedding in 1999 attended by top stars like Adel Imam, Amr Diab, Ahmed Helmy, Karim Abdel Aziz, Fifi Abdou, and others. Despite years of stability, the relationship recently experienced tensions and recurring rumors of separation, which the couple constantly denied, until El Sakka decided to personally announce the truth to end the increasing speculation about his personal life. So far, Maha El Saghir has not issued any official comment on the separation announcement, opting to share some Quranic verses on her social media accounts.
