Syrian director and actor Sadeer Masoud announced his official engagement to Egyptian interior designer Nada Kamal El-Hefnawy, sharing the news with his followers on Instagram through a series of romantic photos of them, accompanied by a caption in English that roughly translates to:
"My heart beats in Egypt and found its rhythm in her love," in a transparent expression of his passionate feelings towards his Egyptian bride.
The interaction was significant and touching from his family, especially his sister, the Syrian writer Loutus Masoud, who celebrated in her own way, writing:
"The sweetest and most precious groom in the world!!! The second father after my father... my support... the most loving heart and strongest support has become a groom."
She added: "My brother... how small this word is and how big... big as my joy in you today and my joy in my dad and mom who saw their first happiness as a groom... Sadeer my love... Nada Kamal was part of the team working on the series "Date with the Past" directed by Sadeer, which was aired on Netflix in December 2024, indicating that their love relationship may have started during their collaboration.
Sadeer Masoud is the son of the renowned artist Ghassan Masoud, he began his artistic career as an actor, then transitioned to directing where he proved himself strongly and achieved notable successes in recent years.
Among his notable directorial works is the series "Unknown Identity" (2021) which received critical and popular acclaim, and the series "From To" starring Qais Khoury and Valerie Abou Chacra, in addition to "Date with the Past."
