The international agricultural exhibition "Agritex" in Damascus witnessed wide participation from international and Arab companies presenting advanced models of plant and animal agricultural supplies, catching the attention of visitors who expressed hope that the exhibition would mark a new start towards economic recovery and an important opportunity for participating companies to market their products and advanced technologies in the Syrian market.

Among the prominent participants was the Turkish company "Sera Marketim," which showcased a range of materials used in plastic greenhouses for producing vegetables and fruits. These materials are known for their ability to protect plants from pollution and pests resulting from climate change.
The company's representative, Mohannad Midani, explained that their participation in the exhibition was a rich opportunity to showcase their products and engage with the local market.

Also, the Turkish company "Emas Machinery," specializing in manufacturing flour and semolina mill machinery and feed mills, participated. Their representative, Mohammad Tamer, mentioned that the company exports its products to more than 100 countries. The Turkish participation's return to the exhibition after years of absence reflects an important indication of external openness and economic recovery in Syria.

Ghaffar Abazah from the Turkish company "Ozay Limited" spoke about a range of specialized fertilizers produced by the company in Antalya, including NPK fertilizers, micronutrients, amino acids, organic, and granular fertilizers.
He considered that expanding Turkish companies' participation in the Syrian market enhances the quality of agricultural products and opens the door to new partnerships.

The International Center for Agricultural Research in Dry Areas (ICARDA) presented its services and implemented projects in collaboration with Syrian agricultural institutions under the agreement signed with the Syrian government. These programs focus on developing seeds, deriving improved grain varieties, and supporting agricultural scientific research.

Additionally, the Jordanian company "Al Manaseer for Natural Solutions," specializing in fertilizers, pesticides, and seeds, showcased innovative agricultural solutions aimed at helping farmers face practical challenges.
The organizers emphasized that participation in agricultural exhibitions allows for the exchange of experiences and marketing specialized products.

From the European side, the Czech company "Biofeed" stood out for providing veterinary medicines and vaccines for livestock, poultry, and pets. The company's representative, Farid Hanoun, explained that the Syrian market represents a promising opportunity, especially given the importance of the veterinary sector in the national economy.

According to Gazie Atashi, the director of "Atasi Exhibition Organization," foreign participation in the exhibition reached 12% of the total companies, distributed among more than 12 Turkish companies and over 6 Arab companies specializing in agricultural and veterinary supplies, reflecting a growing interest in the Syrian market by foreign companies.

This activity comes in the context of expanding agricultural cooperation and economic openness, as Syria seeks to support its agricultural sector and attract modern technology to enhance local production and contribute to achieving food security.
