Russia and Morocco: Strong Growth in Trade Exchange and Increasing Cooperation

Dmitry Patrushev, the Russian Deputy Prime Minister, announced a 30% increase in trade exchange between Russia and Morocco during the first half of 2025 compared to the same period last year.

This came during the eighth meeting of the Russian-Moroccan Committee for Economic and Scientific-Technical Cooperation, held in Moscow with the presence of Moroccan Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita.
Patrushev confirmed that Morocco is one of Russia's most important partners in Africa, expressing his satisfaction with the continued development of dialogue between the two countries despite the current geopolitical circumstances, based on the joint declaration of the deep strategic partnership signed in 2016.
