Since the fall of the Assad regime on December 8 of last year, the audience of Syrian artist Assala Nasri has been eager for her return to Damascus and to hold a concert that allows them to attend after Assala has been absent from the stages of Syria for the past 14 years due to her supportive stance for the Syrian revolution and opposition to Assad's rule, which led to her being banned from entering the country and her songs being banned from broadcasting on Syrian radio and media during the Assad era.

Assala has not provided any details about the anticipated concert, but the Syrian Artists Syndicate confirmed through its page on "Facebook" that arrangements are underway for Assala's visit to the country.

The syndicate also announced a meeting that took place between the syndicate council and Assala's brother, Anas Nasri, in the presence of Soner Taleb, the public relations manager, and Munir Hamzawi, the media and marketing advisor.

Adding that these procedures aim to discuss the details of the visit of the great Syrian artist Assala Nasri to Syria, and to prepare for this event in a fitting manner.
