A Turkish woman in her seventies kills her husband and dismembers his body into 15 pieces in Bursa

A horrific crime in the Turkish city of Bursa has caused widespread shock, after a 69-year-old woman killed her retired police officer husband and dismembered his body into 15 pieces before dumping them in garbage containers in an attempt to conceal the murder.

Investigations revealed that Cadila Ozonoglu killed her husband, Ali Fuad Ozonoglu (75 years old), in late January inside their home. She then dismembered the body and disposed of parts of it in their neighborhood's containers, leading to the loss of body parts and delaying their discovery, leaving the man without a grave, according to local media.

The Turkish court ordered the woman to be imprisoned last week after forensic evidence emerged linking her to the crime, despite her denial of killing her husband and her admission only to dismembering the body and disposing of it in the containers.
She claimed that her husband fell down the stairs and died on January 28, and that she tried to hide the body for fear of being accused of pushing him intentionally.

The police received a report about the husband's disappearance two days after the incident, leading to the later discovery of blood stains and the murder weapon, a cleaver, in the couple's home.
Surveillance cameras also showed the last sighting of the husband alive as he returned home on the day of the incident, documenting the final moments of his life.

The investigation led the police to the containers where the wife had disposed of the body parts about two months ago, shocking the local residents and neighbors of the victim, and leaving a deep psychological impact on the family and the local community.
