Dust Storm Hits Gaza, Turning the Sky Yellow

Civil Defense Warns Against Going Out Unless Necessary
The directorate advised citizens not to leave their homes or shelters unless necessary, especially those suffering from respiratory illnesses, and to wear a mask or a damp cloth over their nose and protect their eyes.
Drinking Water and Protecting Tents is Essential
The directorate urged people to drink plenty of fluids, especially during the night, and to re-secure tents and canopies to prevent them from being blown away in the strong winds, particularly in coastal areas and on the beach.
The Storm Increases the Suffering of Gaza Residents
This storm comes amid harsh conditions faced by residents, following previous storms that damaged tents and increased the number of fatalities among children and infants, in addition to a shortage of humanitarian aid and medicines.
