Sudden and violent movements by a Chinese humanoid robot caused horror among a team of programmers during performance tests, according to a widely circulated video on the internet.

During the experiment, the robot, a Unitree H1, was suspended by chains and connected to computers to test its movements and develop its programming. However, it suddenly started moving its arms violently and randomly, causing the programmers to move away from it out of fear of being injured.

One of the experts quickly intervened to stop the robot, managing to stabilize its arm and shut down the system before any damage occurred.

Subsequent analysis revealed that the malfunction was due to activating the built-in balance recovery algorithm in the robot, designed to activate when it is falling. However, being suspended by chains made it try to correct its balance in the air, leading to unexpected movements.

The Unitree H1 is one of the most advanced models in the field of humanoid robots in China, measuring 180 cm in height, weighing 47 kg, with the ability to carry weights up to 30 kg. It is equipped with lidar devices and specialized cameras that allow it to scan its surroundings and navigate efficiently in various environments.
