The popular messaging application "WhatsApp", owned by Meta, is developing a feature that will allow users of the iOS system for iPhones to switch between multiple accounts, a feature already available to Android users.

According to the specialized website "WABetaInfo" in WhatsApp application updates, "iOS users will be able to access this feature through a new section in the settings page that provides an overview of all accounts registered in the application directly".

The website added that "this section will display images and names of each account, making it easier for users to identify and switch between them", explaining that "this section will also allow users to add a new account to the application without losing their already registered account data".

It noted that "when a user selects a different account from the currently active account, WhatsApp will immediately switch to it, and this step will lead to loading the chat history of the selected account and applying its settings and preferences".

The website continued that "switching between accounts will not require logging out or restarting the application", stating that "the switch is immediate to the selected account, allowing users to navigate smoothly between accounts with a single click".

WhatsApp is still working on developing the feature to switch between multiple accounts for the iOS system, and it is expected to be available to iPhone users in a future update.
