Washington urges countries not to participate in the United Nations conference on the future of the two-state solution between Palestine and Israel.

According to the dated cable on June 10th, the United States considers any "anti-Israel" steps taken after the conference as a direct challenge to its foreign policy interests, warning that participating countries may face "diplomatic consequences."
Washington has reiterated its rejection of any unilateral recognition of a "presumed" Palestinian state, deeming such steps as undermining the negotiation process, as per the document.
So far, the U.S. State Department has not issued an official comment on the content of the cable.
