Wall Street Ends the Week with Gains After Trump's Statements and Bank Reassurances

Wall Street closed Friday's trading with weekly gains, as investors reacted positively to U.S. President Donald Trump's statements regarding China, while the quarterly results of U.S. banks eased concerns related to credit risks.
Trump confirmed that the proposed 100% tariffs on Chinese goods would not be permanent, blaming Beijing for the current deadlock in trade talks.
As a result of these factors, the S&P 500 index rose by 0.50% to close at 6662.44 points, while Nasdaq achieved a weekly increase of 2.1%, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose by 0.51%, recording weekly gains of 1.6%.
