Wafaa Amer responds to accusations regarding the death of Ibrahim Shika: the full truth

The Egyptian artist Wafaa Amer finally broke her silence after shocking accusations followed her in the case of the late Zamalek player Ibrahim Shika's death. She appeared in a fiery intervention live on the "Al-Shifra" program on Al-Shams channel, confirming that all the rumors raised against her regarding organ trafficking are "lies and slander," indicating that she helped the player out of pure humanitarian motives.

"They accuse me as part of a systematic campaign targeting state institutions.. What I did was for good, not for a position or membership.. but for God alone."

She also announced her complete cessation of assisting public figures after the wave of abuse she faced, confirming that she was subjected to injustice, defamation, and rudeness, but she will resort to the judiciary to defend her name and history.

"I am an Egyptian citizen.. and everyone who accused me will pay the price of their lies. Request a review of the last atomic scan of Ibrahim Shika, to confirm that he died with both of his kidneys, and there is no truth to any manipulation of his body."

For her part, Heba Al-Turki, the widow of the late player, denied having any connection to a lawsuit filed against her by the Shika family, indicating that the attack on her is unjustified and amounts to insults and slander.

She confirmed that her husband died after his heart stopped in the hospital in the morning, and that his family was delayed in arriving until the afternoon, which led the hospital administration to wash and shroud the body in the presence of his family and friends.

Al-Turki explained that she keeps all official medical reports documenting her husband's condition from the time he was diagnosed with cancer until his death, denying any manipulation or concealment of the truth, adding:

"The investigations will reveal everything, and I am confident that I am innocent."

The story began in mid-July when a woman appeared on the "TikTok" platform accusing Wafaa Amer of being involved in Shika's death and being involved in human organ trafficking, which sparked a storm of controversy and anger.

Wafaa Amer did not remain silent for long, but acted immediately, stating in remarks:

"I have filed 4 official complaints against this woman, in cooperation with the Actors Syndicate, because she spread malicious lies to tarnish my reputation and insult me as an artist with a public and a history."
