UNICEF: The Water and Sanitation Crisis in Gaza Has Reached Critical Levels

In an official statement, the organization pointed out that the lack of clean water and the absence of sanitation services pose a direct threat to the health of the population, especially children, amid the collapse of infrastructure and the unavailability of fuel necessary to operate desalination plants and pumps.
UNICEF added that the humanitarian situation in Gaza is worsening day by day, urging the international community to take urgent action to provide essential supplies, including water, fuel, and health equipment, to avoid an imminent health and environmental disaster.
