Turkish Interior Minister: Police Arrest 161 Suspects Linked to ISIS

In a post on the "X" platform, the minister added that the suspects were active in the organization and provided financial support, and they were arrested in 38 provinces out of 81 Turkish provinces, including the capital Ankara and Istanbul, the largest city.
According to Yerlikaya, unlicensed weapons, ISIS documents, and digital materials were seized during the raids.
It is noted that ISIS has carried out several attacks in Turkey over the past decade, including a double bombing at a political rally in 2015 that resulted in the deaths of more than a hundred people in the deadliest terrorist attack in the country.
