Turkey evacuates passengers of the "Global Solidarity Fleet" ship after it suffered a malfunction in the Mediterranean

Turkish media sources reported today that authorities carried out an urgent operation to evacuate passengers from a ship participating in the "Global Solidarity Fleet" heading to Gaza, after it experienced a water leak in the Mediterranean due to a technical malfunction.
The ship was carrying a number of activists and aid workers as part of an international initiative to break the blockade on the Gaza Strip, before it encountered the malfunction that required the immediate intervention of Turkish rescue teams.
Rescue units successfully evacuated all passengers without any injuries, and they were transferred to a safe port for necessary care.
