Trump: Tariffs are a tool for national security… and the Democrats threaten government stability

In controversial statements, Trump said he threatened India and Pakistan with tariffs, which he claimed led the two countries to halt their war, noting that the United States has become a "wealthy nation" thanks to these policies, attracting investments worth $17 trillion, and expecting it to reach $20 trillion soon.
Domestically, Trump accused the Democratic Party of "taking the government hostage to appease extremists," warning that their rejection of the government spending bill could lead to the "death of Americans," especially with nearly a million federal employees' salaries halted.
He also confirmed that the capital, Washington, has become a "safe city" thanks to the deployment of the National Guard, stressing that the United States is "ahead of China in the field of artificial intelligence," despite what he described as "terrible tricks" being played by the Democrats.
