Trump Moves the Kurds... Is the Hour of Overthrowing the Iranian Regime Approaching?

In a dramatic security and political development, American sources reported that U.S. President Donald Trump is considering supporting groups within Iran willing to take up arms to overthrow the Iranian regime, especially after the death of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei three days ago, which left a leadership vacuum in Tehran.
According to press reports, Trump has contacted Kurdish leaders and continues to engage with local parties that may benefit from the Iranian regime's weakness to achieve political and field gains.
However, the U.S. President has not made a final decision regarding direct military support, whether in terms of weapons, training, or intelligence information for the opposition factions against the regime.
Trump confirmed his support for the Iranian people, urging them to "restore their government," but he also indicated that "someone from within the regime" might be the best option to lead Iran, given the fall of some figures proposed as Khamenei's successor.
This comes at a time when the Kurds have military strength on the Iraqi-Iranian border, alongside Israeli strikes on Western sites in Iran, raising speculations about the possibility of paving the way for a potential Kurdish move.
However, experts believe that the Kurds are unlikely to advance towards Tehran, as their activities usually focus on their traditional areas, meaning that any broad movement would require cooperation with Persian groups and other minorities within the country.
For her part, White House spokesperson Caroline Levitt indicated that Trump has communicated with several regional partners, without revealing the nature of the potential support or the desired objectives.
These steps represent a qualitative escalation that goes beyond merely calling for a popular uprising, placing the region in front of complex scenarios amid a potential leadership vacuum within Iran.
