Quickly, the American envoy to Syria, Thomas Barrack, is trying to calm the situation. He arrived in Tel Aviv today, Wednesday, to discuss the escalating tensions between Tel Aviv, Damascus, and Ankara, as reported by Israeli media. Barrack, according to Israeli reports, conducted a field tour in the Syrian Golan, inspecting strategic and military sites in the area with Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz, Minister of Internal Security Ron Dermer, and several senior Israeli military leaders.
