Britain is working hard to enhance trade relations worldwide to protect its economy from the repercussions of the trade war ignited by US President Donald Trump.
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer announces that his country is moving towards reopening trade discussions with Canada, with his statements coming during his meeting with his Canadian counterpart, Mark Carney.
Starmer's office stated that the minister will seize the opportunity of the G7 summit to affirm that in a changing global economy, the United Kingdom must maintain its position as a free and open trading nation by strengthening existing alliances and reducing trade barriers with other countries.
