Preliminary data from the South Korean Customs Agency today, Saturday, showed that the country did not import any crude oil from Iran in May.
The data also revealed that the world's fifth-largest crude oil importer imported a total of 12.6 million tons of crude oil last month, compared to 11.8 million tons a year earlier.
The state-run Korean National Oil Company will publish the final data on Seoul's oil imports last month later this month.
