The Syrian pound is declining against the dollar.

The exchange rate of the Syrian Lira against the US Dollar has dropped by about 10% in the parallel exchange markets, following news of new liquidity injection of the Syrian Lira soon.

After the Syrian Lira's rise against the US Dollar due to the low liquidity of the Lira in the markets, the Central Bank of Syria announced receiving financial amounts in Syrian Lira from Russia through Damascus International Airport, leading to a 9.7% depreciation of the Syrian Lira against the Dollar. Yesterday, on 15/02/2025, the exchange rate in the parallel markets reached 11,000 Lira for buying and 11,300 Lira for selling, while the Euro ranged between 11,560 Lira for buying and 11,860 Lira for selling.

The exchange rate of the Turkish Lira against the Syrian Lira ranged between 302 Lira for buying and 312 Syrian Lira for selling, and the exchange rate of the Turkish Lira against the Dollar ranged between 35.24 Lira for buying and 36.24 Turkish Lira for selling.
