The law confirms Syria's support for Qatar against the "brutal Israeli aggression" at the conclusion of the extraordinary Doha summit

The extraordinary Arab Islamic summit in the Qatari capital, Doha, concluded its work on Monday, which was held to discuss ways to respond to the Israeli attack that targeted Qatari territory, where the sessions witnessed solidary confirmations with the State of Qatar.
In a speech during the summit, attended by a number of leaders and heads of Arab and Islamic countries, Syrian President Ahmad al-Shara confirmed his country's support for Qatar. Al-Shara stated professionally: "Israel has continued its aggression against Syria for nine months.. We stand with the State of Qatar against the brutal Israeli aggression." He pointed out in his remarks that "targeting the mediator is unprecedented," referring to Qatar's mediating role.
The summit came in response to the Israeli bombing that targeted a residential area in Doha last Tuesday, resulting in the death of 6 people, including a Qatari security officer. The death toll included the son of Khalil al-Hayya, one of the prominent leaders of Hamas abroad, and the head of the staff in his office. Hamas reported that its senior leadership survived the assassination attempt.
The attack sparked widespread international condemnation, and received rare criticism from U.S. President Donald Trump, who described Qatar as "an important ally of the United States." Trump added: "Israel has the freedom to deal with Hamas but it must be careful and think carefully about whom it will attack."
It is noteworthy that the State of Qatar, along with Egypt and the United States, plays an active mediating role in the ongoing conflict in Gaza between Israel and Hamas.
