As part of the "Reviving Hama" initiative launched by the Governor of Hama, Abdul Rahman Al-Sahyan, earlier this month to enhance the service and social reality in Hama.
The Mechanical and Electrical Equipment Workshop at the Drinking Water Establishment has pulled and installed more than 20 submersible pumps in the wells of Hama city and its subunits, as part of the institution's continuous efforts to enhance the efficiency of well operation and ensure continuous water pumping for the residents.
The head of the department, Engineer Ammar Sabagh, explained that the pulling and installation operations were carried out according to precise technical standards, with a focus on reducing downtime to ensure the water supply is not affected.
He pointed out that the work included periodic maintenance and replacement of damaged pumps, contributing to improving the efficiency of well operation and ensuring continuous water supply.
He emphasized that these efforts are part of a series of measures aimed at improving the water infrastructure in the region, meeting the needs of the population, and reducing problems resulting from repeated malfunctions in submersible pumps due to the shelling and sabotage they have been subjected to in recent years.
The maintenance teams continue to monitor the performance of the pumps and intervene immediately in case of any malfunctions to ensure service stability.
