The Libyan ship "Omar Al-Mukhtar", participating in the "Fleet of Resilience" heading to the Gaza Strip, announced a state of security alert after three unidentified drones were spotted flying in its vicinity.
The ship continues its journey alone towards Gaza, where it is still more than 700 nautical miles from the Palestinian shores. The organizers of the trip reported that the crew and the supporters are maintaining their cohesion and commitment despite the emergency security conditions.
Mohammed Al-Haddad, the general coordinator of the ship, confirmed that the participants continue their journey with high morale, adding that "such threats will not stop our efforts to deliver humanitarian aid directly to the people of Gaza and break the siege imposed on them".
