The Israeli army drops leaflets to evacuate residents of East Gaza and urges them to head south

The Israeli army dropped paper leaflets today, Friday, over the Zeitoun neighborhood in southeastern Gaza City, urging residents to evacuate immediately towards the south.
The text of the leaflets stated: "Urgent warning! To all who have not evacuated or returned to blocks 613, 624, 625, 628, 629, 630, 631, 641, 695 in the Zeitoun neighborhood, as you have been warned, the Israeli army continues to expand its operations westward. For your safety, evacuate immediately south towards the Mawasi."
This comes one day after an Israeli bombardment targeted residential buildings in the Asqoula area of the Zeitoun neighborhood, in addition to a residential block near the Islamic complex in the Sabra neighborhood south of the city.
