The European Union warns of Lebanon becoming a new front in the war

The EU's foreign policy chief, Josep Borrell, warned that Lebanon faces the risk of becoming a new front in the ongoing war with Iran.

Borrell stated on Monday that Hezbollah's decision to attack Israel in support of Iran could expose the entire region to greater risks and add a more dangerous dimension to the conflict.

The European official affirmed that Israel has the right to defend itself, provided that it is done in accordance with international law.
