Emirates Group Plans to Increase Its Workforce

The Emirates Group, the parent company of Emirates Airlines, announced today, Tuesday, that it is looking to increase its workforce by 17,300 employees, including hiring more cabin crews, pilots, engineers, as well as cargo and ground handling staff.
The Emirates Group, owned by the Investment Corporation of Dubai, Dubai's sovereign wealth fund, plans to add jobs in 350 different roles across the group during the fiscal year ending in March, increasing its workforce by 14%. It added that the new jobs will include over 4,000 positions in its subsidiary, dnata, a ground handling company.
Emirates Airlines plays a key role in enhancing Dubai's position as a global hub. As part of a 10-year plan known as "Dubai 33," the emirate aims to develop its economy by investing in tourism and attracting foreign capital, including real estate investments.
